Whitney M-1841 Mississippi Rifle

Rifle remains in excellent condition. The original .54 Caliber Bore is excellent. Actions are crisp and tight. Both lock and barrel are dated 1850. Lock shows around 50% + darkened case colors and marked E. Whitney over US,  N.Haven 1850. Barrel retain around 75% original brown that has toned down in areas. Barrel is marked US, VP, GW and tang dated 1850. Stock is excellent with crisp edges, a few minor blemishes and 2 crisp clear inspectors cartouches. Overall a super example of an unaltered 54 Caliber Mississippi Rifle.
