US NY Boston Bayonet Frog overall 6 1/2″ x 4″ in very fine condition. For use with the Dahlgren Bowie Bayonet as well as the Plymouth Rifle Saber Bayonet. Ink stamp I believe reads the date 1864. Marked examples are scarce.
