M-1884 45/70 Trapdoor Rifle sn #474xxx overall 51 1/2″ in excelent + as found condition. Rifle may very well be unfired as bore is still packed with grease. All markings are present. Actions are crisp and tight. Barrel retains nearly all of its blue with a few scratches. Lock has nearly all of its finish and some dried grease. The breech block has nearly all of its case colors and some dried grease. Stock is excellent showing some dings and handling marks with an 1889 dated cartouche. An excellent original sling accompanies the rifle, I believe it is for a 03 Springfield.
