M-1861 Trenton Musket overall 55 3/4″ in excellent condition. All markings are present. Bore and actions are excellent. Barrel and lock are dated 1864. Stock and barrel are New Jersey stamped. Metal is bright showing much of its original polish and some slight age tarnish. Stock is excellent with sharps edges and some minor handling marks. The rod channel has a few chips between the front and middle bands. Overall a real nice Civil War 58 Caliber Musket.
