M-1817 Deringer Common Rifle, Cone in Barrel alteration, overall 51″ in fine condition. Lock is marked Deringer Phila, barrel is marked US JH over P. Bore and actions are fine. Stock is very fine with sharp edges and a few minor period stress cracks near patch box, nothing bad. A very nice overall example of this scarce Rifle.
