US M-1855 Springfield Pistol Carbine overall 29″ in fine + condition. This is a much nicer then normally found example. All markings are present. Bore and actions are fine. Lock is dated 1856 and barrel 1855 as with many. The edges around the lock remain nice and sharp. A light JT cartouche is present opposite lock. The detachable shoulder stock is very fine and fits pistol well. The numbers on the pistol and stock do not match as with most. Only 4021 of these scarce pistols were manufactured. A real nice looking example that has a nice even appearance throughout.
