M-1865 Spencer Conversion Rifle sn 23xxx overall 50″. Only 1108 of these scarce rifles were altered C.1871 at Springfield Armory. All markings are present. Actions are fine, bore is excellent. Barrel shows a nice even plum blue throughout. Receiver has traces of case color. Stocks are very fine with with minor handling marks and a ESA cartouche.
