Early Spencer Rifle Socket Bayonet overall 21 3/8″, Socket 3″, Inside MRD 21.33 mm in fine condition. These would have been used with the first 2000 or so Army Rifles, most seeing action at Gettysburg. There is also a few known images showing one of these bayonets on a Berdan Sharps rifle. So it would appear that a small group would have been issued with the Sharps.
