Horstman Sword Socket Bayonet, overall 27 1/2″, socket 2 1/8th”, Inside MRD 23.18 mm in fine condition. These rare bayonets are known to have been used on Mississippi Rifles by the Confederate states of Georgia and Alabama. There are known images showing soldiers with these bayonets mounted to their rifles.
