Harpers Ferry M-1855 Rifle

M-1855 Harpers Ferry Rifle dated 1859 overall 48 1/2″ in very fine condition. All markings are present. Bore and actions are fine. Lock and barrel have excellent 1859 date stampings and markings. Stock is very fine with nice edges minor dings and handling marks. Stock has 2 inspectors cartouches opposite lock. There is a slight stable stress crack just behind rear of lock, nothing to be concerned with. Metal appears to have been professionally cleaned at some point and remains very nice. Overall a great looking example that is far better then what is usually found on the market.
