English Early 18th Century Brass Barrel Blunderbus Flintlock Pistol by G.Bower

G. Bower London Blunderbuss Pistol, overall 14″ barrel 7 1/4″ in fine condition. Lock is marked G.Bower London, top of barrel is marked G.Bower. Barrel also has Crown Proofs and what looks to be initials IT. The top of stock behind tang has a Family Crest. Lock, barrel and brass furniture are nicely engraved. Stock is fine + with a few minor repairs and a small piece of wood missing from the very front near muzzle and a small piece missing at front of the butt cap. Pistol presents very well in person. This may have seen service in both the French & Indian War as well as the American Revolutionary War. A very unique and rare ealry Flintlock Blunderbus Pistol.
