Cosmopolitan Carbine overall 39″ in fine condition serial number 10xx. Only 1200 manufactured C.1859-62 with 1140 going to the State of Illinois. A good number went to the 6th Cavalry. All markings are present. Bore and actions are fine. All numbers are matching. Frame has some light traces of case colors and barrel has some traces of blue. Stock is fine +. This if well above average for one of these rare carbines.
