Confederate Import Anchor S Marked P-1853 Enfield Rifle

P-1853 Confederate Enfield with Anchor S, overall 55 1/4″. Rifle remains in very good + condition. Metal is untouched and uncleaned dark chocolate brown throughout. Barrel is marked 25 25 and lock 1863 Tower. Stock is very fine with sharp crisp edges and a crisp anchor S stamping forward the butt plate. A very nice BSA marking is found on the right side of stock. Bore is dirty and appears to have rifling. Rod has a period altered head. As untouched as you will find.
