Amoskeag Special Model 1861 Contract Musket

US M-1861 Amoskeag 58 cal Musket with 40″ Barrel, overall 56″. Musket remains in as found untouched and uncleaned condition. All markings are present. Bore and actions are fine. Lock and barrel a dated 1864. Barrel has correct A.M.C. stamping forward the bolster. Stock is very fine with sharp edges. Only 27,001 total manufactured with a small survival rate.
