Ames M-1850 Staff & Field Officers Sword Dated 1851 & Inspected

Ames M-1850 Staff & Field Dated and Inspected Officer’s Sword W/S in fine condition, overall 39 1/2″. Blade is dated US 1851 and A.D.K. inspected. with strong etching. Pommel top has J.W.R., and Drag and Pommel both have small B inspection. Shark Skin grip is excellent. Scabbard is fine + and fits blade well. Drag has lots of tiny dings mostly on back side. Only 150 of these rare issued sword were manufactured by Ames.
