Ames M-1841 Navy Cutlass, Guard stamped V 22 ID N6, overall 27″ in fine condition. Blade is marked U.S.N. 184? and NWP. It is most likely 1842 or 43 from the top of the last diget. Other side is maked N.P.Ames and partial Springfield. The quillion is stamped NWP and WAT. A very nice looking cutlass.
