Sword remains in very fine condition. Blade has excellent etching on both sides and marked AMES MFG CO CHICOPEE MASS. The pearl grip is excellent. Scabbard has a few minor dings and small shallow dents, nothing bad. Overall 38 3/4″. A very pretty Civil War era Militia Officers Sword.
