Ames 1862 Dated Artillery Short Sword W/S, Stamped US, JH and Ames scroll, overall 26 1/4″ in excellent condition. Blade is excellent retaining most of its original bright polish. Scabbard is excellent showing minor use and fits blade perfect. A real nice example with limited numbers produced in 1862.
