Ames Dated 1847 Cavalry Saber W/S overall length 43″. Saber remains in fine condition. Blade has some age staining and is marked N.P.Ames Cabotville 1847, US and WC. Leather grip is very fine. Original scabbard is fine and fits blade perfect. A nice untouched example of a Mexican War Era Ames Saber.
