Rifle remains in fine + as found, untouched and uncleaned condition. All markings are present. Bore and actions are fine. Lock is marked US Springfield 1863 and block Model 1870 Eagle over US. Stock is fine + with 4 inspectors cartouches, some minor handling marks and a period chip in center next to rod. A tough rifle to find. Overall length 51 1/2″.
