Original Rare Period Provenance Inscription: “Carried 1861-65, Moses A. Wood, Cambridge, Mass.” Serial number 23882 crisply stamped on receiver. Stock has deep, honest patina & untouched surface showing wear consistent with 160+ years of age/use. Case colored/steel receiver w/visible period finish loss and mellow gray patina. Original rear sight, front sight, and barrel bands intack. Clear manufacturer markings & legible serial number.  Overall 47″
