Ames USN, DR, 1864 dated Dahlgren Bayonet W/S overall 17 1/4″ in excellent condition. Blade is excellent with nearly all of its arsenal bright polish and just a few minor blemishes. Wood grip is very nice. Top of pommel has DR inspectors cartouche. The original leather scabbard is exceptional and fits blade perfect. Overall a beautiful example of the Civil War Navy Bayonet/Fighting Knife.
