SA 1911 Experimental Cavalry Saber remains in very fine condition. Blade is marked SA 1911 US and serial number. Grip is very fine with some light wear. The original leather washer is present. Correct original canvas covered scabbard is very fine and drag has issue markings. Only 79 of these exceedingly rare sabers were manufactured at Springfield Armory and 24 ar know to date.
