Chaffee Reese Bolt Action Magazine Rifle

Rifle remains in very fine condition. Only 753 of these scarce rifles were manufactured at Springfield Armory C.1884. All markings are present. Bore and actions are excellent. Barrel retains much of its blued finish and receiver most of its oil quenched blackened case color. Stock is very fine with a perfect SWP 1884 cartouche and circle P firing proof behind the trigger guard. A very nice example of these scare Springfield rifles.
