Ames 1864 Dated Cavalry Saber

Saber remains in very fine condition. Blade is excellent + and retains nearly all of its original polish. The original leather washer is present. Blade is marked Ames US 1864 G.W.C. The leather grip is fine and shows light wear and chip at very top just under pommel. Scabbard is very fine with no dents. A real nice example of a Civil War M-1860 Cavalry Saber. Overall 42″.
