Ames 1850 Dated Heavy Cavalry Saber W/S

Ames M-1840 Cavalry Saber remains in very fine + condition. The excellent blade shows most of its original polish with some very minor age tarnish. Ricasso has crisp Ames markings and 1850 date. The original leather washer is present. Leather grip is excellent. Pommel top is inspected J.W.R. and A.D.K. Scabbard is very fine and without dents, throat has a small S inspection on top. Overall sword is scabbard measures 43 1/2″
