Allen & Wheelock Sidehammer Navy revolver remains in very good + condition. Only around 750 of these scarce early Civil War revolvers were manufactured C.1858-1861. All markings are present and serial nunber 5xx. This is a very scarce and desirable variation with a 8″ Barrel. The cylinder scene is very nice and around 95% visable. Wood grips are fine + with two minor chips at the rear bottom. Grips also have a coating of added varnish or laquer that can be removed if wanted. Overall 14 1/4″.
